The city and the Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce organized a ribbon cutting ceremony for Root Salon and Spa Nov. 11. Root Salon and Spa opened for business Nov. 8 in Suite 1 at 116 East Ave. in Tallmadge. The salon and spa services men, women and children and specializes in Aveda color and cutting techniques. There are four stylists, and scalp massages are offered to clients. Owner Reuting worked four years at Anudu Hair Salon in Tallmadge before opening Root Salon.
