Total donations made by associates of the Cleveland‐based brokerage RE/MAX Crossroads Properties recently surpassed $1 million in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®, according to a press release from RE/MAX.

Led by Broker/Owners Mary Lou and Dennis Steed, RE/MAX Crossroads’ donations have helped provide life‐saving treatments, advanced medical equipment, and valuable research and education. All donations raised by RE/MAX Crossroads stay local and support two Cleveland‐area hospitals – Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and Akron Children’s Hospital.

“In January, we realized that we would reach our goal of $1 million in total donations to CMN Hospitals, and not only did we achieve that, but we also did it before the end of the year,” Steed said in the release.“Mary Lou and I couldn’t be any more proud of the incredibly caring and generous group of associates and staff at RE/MAX Crossroads. We’re surrounded by the best of the best.”

Across seven office locations, the brokerage has 100 percent agent participation in the RE/MAX Miracle Home Program, where agents contribute a dollar amount after each property sale.

“RE/MAX Crossroads sets the gold standard as far as we’re concerned,” Nicci Avalon of Akron Children’s Hospital said in the release. “Agents can give $15, $25 or even more per transaction. It all adds up. The funds help us implement and keep programs going, like art therapy, support groups and more.”

RE/MAX Crossroads also has its annual spring business meetings at the hospitals, its associates volunteer at the annual Rainbow Radiothon and brands property listings with RE/MAX Miracle Home sign riders. In honor of its continued support, RE/MAX Crossroads has a commemorative plaque displayed in the newer neonatal wing at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

“RE/MAX Crossroads is a great example of long‐term commitment,” said Debbie Lewis of Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. "Their donations are used for whatever the hospital needs, from specific equipment to extras – like giving kids a moment of fun in the playroom. They’ve helped more children and families than they can imagine.”
