For the 13th consecutive year, the Lance Cpl. Daniel "Nate" Deyarmin Jr. Memorial Benefit Poker Run has raised funds for disabled and/or disadvantaged American veterans and their families. The benefit, which was held on June 11, is named after the 2002 Tallmadge High School graduate who died in Iraq in 2005. He enjoyed driving and working on cars, trucks and motorcycles so his parents, Edie and Dan Deyarmin, and friends honor his memory every year through the benefit that brings together a lot of horsepower. The Deyarmin Foundation assists veterans and their families with housing expenses, rent, furniture, food and more.  Pictured, Nate's mother, Edie Deyarmin, waves to the motorcyclists passing by for the 13th Annual LCpl Daniel "Nate" Deyarmin Memorial Benefit Run at the Tallmadge Middle School June 11. For more photos, see the June 25 edition of the Tallmadge Express.
