Christina Fitting of Mogadore and Corey Hawkins of Cuyahoga Falls are engaged and planning a January wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Tom Fitting of Mogadore and Carla Mertus of Tallmadge. Her fiance is the son of Larry and Lana Hawkins of Cuyahoga Falls.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Mogadore Christian Academy and is currently attending Stark State College of Technology in Canton. She is employed as a dance instructor at Rising Star Dance Center in the evenings and works at Summa Wellness Institute in Hudson during the day.
Her fiance was home-schooled and graduated in 2006. He is employed as a private cleaning contractor.
The couple plans to wed in January at the Church of New Hope in Stow.
