James and Wilma Glover of Cuyahoga Falls were married Jan. 20, 1950 in Akron.
The couple has two children, Pam Glover of Carlsbad, Calif. and Paula (Chuck) Victor of Tallmadge; three grandchildren, Jason (Susan) Hayes of Cumming, Ga., Allison Hayes of Akron and Luke Hayes of Tallmadge; and one great-grandchild, JJ, of Cumming, Ga.
James retired from Sears after 35 years service and Wilma retired from the city of Akron after 17 years service.
The couple lived in Tallmadge for 18 years before moving to Danbury in Cuyahoga Falls.
The Glovers plan to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at a reception with family and friends.
