Valentine, Sanek exchange vows

Jennifer Lee Valentine and Scott Allen Sanek were united in marriage on Aug. 22, 2009 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. The celebrant at the nuptial mass was the Rev. Thomas McCann.

The bride is the daughter of Carol and Larry Valentine of Cuyahoga Falls. The bridegroom is the son of Pamela and Edward Sanek of Tallmadge.

The bride's dress was made of ivory alencon lace over silk satin organza. The dress had a scalloped V-neckline and cap sleeve with a tiered pleated tulle sweep train. The bride wore a cathedral length veil with lace trim and carried a white bouquet of hydrangea, Virginia roses, stockflower and freesia.

Her handkerchief and sixpence belonged to her mother.

Erin Anders-Shiveley, friend of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrie Serber and Kellie Cramer, friends of the bride, and Amanda Sanek, sister of the bridegroom. Jonathan Fanger, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Ezell McAfee, Frank Mascola and Jeffrey Anstine, friends of the bridegroom.

The reception took place at Portage Country Club in Akron.

The bride is a graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School and The University of Toledo. She received her master's degree in business administration from the University of Findlay and is a senior territory manager for Allergan.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Field High School and The University of Toledo. He is a surgical sales consultant for Synthes Inc.

The couple resides in Canfield.
