Chris Labosky
March 7, 2010
Tallmadge graduate Chris Labosky, a senior on the Yale University men’s track and field squad, recently earned first-team All-Ivy honors after his win in the 1,000-meter at indoor Heptagonals Championships in New Haven, Conn.
Labosky won the 1,000-meter run with a personal record of 2 minutes, 25.5 seconds. A standout middle distance runner, he also holds the fourth fastest time in the 800 for Yale indoor. This his second All-Ivy honor after earning second-team recognition last season as a member of the 4x880-yard relay team. Labosky also was named to the College Sports Information Directors Association/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American men’s track and field/cross country team last year and served as the 2009 cross country captain for the Bulldogs. He was scheduled to compete in the IC4A Championships in Boston. Results were not available at press time.
