It was a full house at the Tallmadge Lions Club spaghetti dinner March 11. It was the last spaghetti dinner for which Lion Larry Bagnoli would be cooking up his special sauce, and close to 200 residents came out to dine.

Some Tallmadge kids spent their snow days -- March 14 and 15 -- sledding! Schools closed when temperatures dropped into the teens and Mother Nature dumped about a half foot of snow on the area.

Summit County area Relay For Life events are participating in a Queen of Hearts drawing. Drawings will be held each week beginning on March 5 until the Queen of Hearts is drawn. The game works by individuals purchasing tickets which are entered into a random drawing.
Annual fire hydrant flushing to begin March 27 The annual fire hydrant flushing in the city of Tallmadge will begin March 27 and continue weekdays for two to three weeks.
Sign up now for 'Spring Into Action' event On the morning of May 13, Tallmadge United Methodist Church will host a community service day. Called "Spring into Action 2017," the congregation will perform miscellaneous jobs for residents in Tallmadge and urrounding communities.
