Dunbar Primary School hosted its annual Kindergarten Grandparents Day on April 21. Approximately 350 grandparents came to the school to participate in the event. Grandparents visited the kindergarten classrooms and went on a scavenger hunt with their grandchild.

As is customary, the annual Tallmadge Middle School Students vs. Staff basketball game was held the last day before Spring Break -- March 24. The crowd roared while staff and students raced up and down the court to dominate the opposing team.

East High School Akron East High School will host a luncheon for all classmates who graduated 60 or more years ago, May 11 at noon at Guy's Party Centre, 500 E. Waterloo Road, Akron. The cost is $23 per person and the reservation deadline is April 28.
